Located in the northern part of the town about 300 yards from the High Street which is great for shopping, this traditional Georgian pub has many original features including stained glass and a large open fire. The bar area is large capacity but with a cosey, warm feel and we have a late liscence for our night club (The Hanger) upstairs which is where we have our live music 'Click Here for more information on upcoming events at the hanger'.

People who come here actually make the effort rather than being on the main pub run which is a good thing because it means we don't get the usual rowdy crowd but those who actually know and love what we do here.

If you are visiting the area we have the new Parishes shopping centre just 300 yards away. Why not pop in for lunch if you're shopping, and if you're more into the countryside then we are on the way to Normanby Hall which is a large country park to the north of Scunthorpe.

We tend to attract anybody and everybody from families with kids up to Granny and Grandad and the 18 year old clubbers. Watch out though, the pub is elegidly haunted!! We hear noises and footsteps but we blame it on the dog now!!

High quality bar food homemade using local produce whenever possible. Serving times are all day (12pm - 10pm). We cater for vegetarians (Ian the Landlord is a veggie himself!) and special dietry needs when asked for. If we can make it we'll do it! Click here to see our menu on the UK Pub Zone.

Curries for sure!! Really popular. Up to 10 different curries are available at any one time and we are constantly changing them.
Sunday lunches are also very tastey served from 1pm - 5pm. Great Steaks at very reasonable prices Children's menu available, Catering for up to 150 (Buffet) and hot sit down meals are limited to up to 30 people in the function room.
